DALLAS, Texas (December 30, 2025) — Texas Bully Baggers, the state’s only professional cornhole team, today announced its first official partnership with BG Cornhole, an industry leader in high-performance cornhole bags, boards, and equipment.

The partnership brings together two Texas-based brands with a shared commitment to elevating the sport of cornhole from grassroots play to the professional stage while expanding access, visibility, and opportunity for players and fans alike. The alliance with BG Cornhole establishes a foundational standard for the organization’s long-term approach to working with trusted brands deeply embedded in the sport.

Once seen primarily as a backyard pastime, cornhole has evolved into a sponsored, nationally televised sport watched by millions.

Under the agreement, BG Cornhole will support the Texas Bully Baggers across multiple touchpoints, including product integration for team athletes, co-branded appearances at community and competitive events, and collaborative digital content highlighting the culture and growth of professional cornhole. Fans can expect to see BG Cornhole products prominently featured with the team as the Bully Baggers prepare for the upcoming season.

“It was important for us to launch this team with the right kind of partner – one that truly understands the sport and the community behind it,” said Thomas O’Keefe, General Manager of the Texas Bully Baggers. “BG Cornhole represents everything we value: authenticity, performance, and a genuine commitment to growing cornhole at every level. This partnership sets the tone for what the Texas Bully Baggers are building.”

“From day one, BG Cornhole has believed in the competitive future of this sport while staying true to the community that built it,” said Rich Chamness, CEO of BG Cornhole. “The Texas Bully Baggers represent the next evolution of professional cornhole – high-level competition, strong leadership, and a genuine commitment to growing the game the right way. We’re proud to partner with this team and help shape the future for cornhole in Texas and beyond.”

The partnership announcement also marks the first public confirmation that Connect Partnership Group (Connect), a business consulting and sponsorship agency based in Dallas, is the ownership group behind the Texas Bully Baggers. This confirmation follows the American Cornhole League’s recent move to a team ownership model. The Bully Baggers are one of just 10 professional teams league-wide and currently the only pro cornhole team based in Texas.

“Connect saw an opportunity to invest in a sport that’s growing rapidly while staying true to its roots,” O’Keefe added. “Cornhole is unique because it’s inclusive by nature. Anyone can play, anyone can win. Our goal with the Texas Bully Baggers is to build a team and brand that reflects that spirit while competing at the highest level of the game.”

The timing of the announcement coincides with the upcoming ACL Draft on January 3, where the Texas Bully Baggers will continue to build their roster. The team currently features six professional players and will be actively recruiting additional talent through the draft process.

Beyond competition, the Texas Bully Baggers and BG Cornhole partnership will emphasize fan engagement, local outreach, and exclusive experiences designed to grow the sport across Texas and beyond – both on and off the boards.
