With 24 years of experience across professional sports leagues and teams, broadcast rightsholders, and real estate development, Schwartz has extensive expertise in operating venues, managing strategic marketing partnerships, creating and executing advertising campaigns, and planning large-scale events. Schwartz’s career has been highlighted with roles in high profile organizations such as Major League Baseball, Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, SiriusXM, and Howard Hughes Holdings.

In his most recent role as Co-President at Howard Hughes, Schwartz led the revitalization of Lower Manhattan’s Seaport neighborhood. During his nine years with the globally recognized developer, he spearheaded the company’s partnership platforms, oversaw all aspects of the concert business at the iconic Rooftop at Pier 17, managed the Seaport’s award-winning in-house creative design studio along with its digital and marketing teams, and helped secure long-term tenant relationships with ESPN and Nike.

A lifelong hockey enthusiast, Schwartz was once the head coach of the University of Connecticut women’s ice hockey team and now focuses his attention on coaching youth hockey, raising awareness for disabled hockey players and fundraising for cancer research and patient services through the sport.
